Our history is deeply rooted in our region and our territory.

Costa F. s.r.l. was founded by our parents fifty years ago. Fresh bread, traditional sweets, and biscuits are lovingly made and distributed throughout the Sicilian market.
The secret of our business? Tradition, first and foremost, mixed with a healthy dose of modernity. However, we don’t forget the choice of the highest-quality raw materials. Citrus fruits, dried fruit, and candied fruit are staples of our island’s confectionery, and they are used with expertise, innovation, and attention to our customers’ needs.

Over the years, due to the evolution of the baking industry, we have decided to dedicate ourselves exclusively to the creation of tasty and authentic desserts, drawing on the knowledge acquired by our parents, our full understanding of the various leavening processes and the art of pastry making, and the acquisition and use of diverse and high-quality raw materials.

Experience with top leavening masters, expertise, and passion are authentic trademarks of Costa Dolci: qualities that have allowed us to successfully export leavened products such as colomba and panettone not only throughout Italy, but also abroad.

Canada, Germany, Austria, Malta, Poland and the Netherlands are just some of the nations that have chosen to grace their tables with traditional Sicilian desserts, made with the finest flours, the tastiest pastries, the freshest fruits and grains, high-quality butter, and select candied fruit.

Our company purchases dried fruit and oversees the entire supply chain, from raw material selection, roasting, grinding, and refining, making it ready for mixing into creams and used primarily for our own products, but also to supply ice cream parlors and pastry shops.

We do not use pre-mixed products to make panettone, colomba, and other desserts; we personally handle every leavening process.

Nine hundred square meters, additional space provided by our warehouse, modern and functional equipment, and, above all, a passionate and competent team: this is the heart of our company.

Our company is a true dream factory. We produce, package, and export our confectionery products in-house, guaranteeing fresh raw materials and prompt delivery. Our business has obtained the important IFS certification, issued only to businesses that comply with international distribution standards: a further guarantee of professionalism and reliability, both in Italy and around the world.

For our family, roots are important.

The roots of Costa F. s.r.l. are firmly planted in the thriving and charming town of Piedimonte Etneo, a tourist destination located below the infamous Mount Etna, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A beloved destination for Italian and international tourists, it is also known for its food and wine specialties, a fertile ground for our production and sale of traditional Sicilian sweets, reinterpreted with a unique, personal touch.
