SICAM 2025: A CERTAINTY…
In a complex season with no shortage of worries, the furniture world once again confirms its “desire” for SICAM
The 2025 edition of the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi-finished Products for the Furniture Industry will once again be an unmissable appointment! This has been confirmed well in advance by the hundreds of exhibitors who will once again enliven the Pordenone Fiere fairgrounds this year from 14 to 17 October.
An edition that has been ‘sold out’ for months and will once again keep the ‘promises’ that SICAM renews every year, that is, to be an concrete appointment, with a strong focus on the product but where ideas, visions and trends are at home.
The list of exhibitors, available since January on the event’s website, demonstrates the will of companies and industrial groups from all over the world not to miss this great ‘furniture festival’.
An event that numbers tell better than a thousand words: the 2024 edition attracted 692 exhibitors (650 in 2023) from 34 countries to Pordenone, on an area of more than 41 thousand square metres, including 19,135 net exhibition square metres (18,420 in 2023); 9,243 companies (8,916 in 2023) from 118 countries (113 in 2023) came to Pordenone to meet them. Just under 30,000 people attended the fair over the four days of the event, including 23,542 visitors and 5,368 exhibitors.
An exhibition made of people but also of content: ‘We still have in our eyes the beauty that was undoubtedly the hallmark of the “Milano Design Week”,’ commented Carolina Giobbi, CMO of SICAM, ‘where we reviewed the mechanisms, materials, decors, appliances, and components that were in the spotlight in Pordenone last October. The decision to position ourselves in the autumn, therefore well in advance so that the world of ideas and production can meet in view of the events of the following spring, has once again proved its validity.
And the same will happen in a few months: this is confirmed by our meetings with sector operators all over the world, who know that they can find in SICAM an intense business and meeting moment from which to look towards a future that can only be better than the times we are experiencing’.
Meetings that are renewed in the stages of the SICAM roadshow, present since its creation at all the most important appointments, business events and exhibitions in the supply chain. This year – after its participation at KBIS in Las Vegas, DelhiWood (New Delhi), the Dubai WoodShow and the already mentioned ‘Milano Design Week’ – it could not miss a significant stop in Germany. SICAM is in fact the ‘Premium Sponsor’ of ‘Inside Branchen-Gipfel’, a ‘think tank’ dedicated to the thousand facets of the future of living that will take place on 6 and 7 May in Munich. From 20 to 23 May, the second stage of the ‘German month’ will take place at Interzum in Cologne, where SICAM will be present with its own stand (B070) in the Boulevard.
‘Germany undoubtedly represents an important presence at SICAM,’ continued Carolina Giobbi. ‘To date, German exhibitors represent just under 10 per cent of the total number of companies present with their own stand at the fair, the largest national contingent behind Italy alone. If we add to this about 4 per cent of the total number of exhibitors from Austria and Switzerland, it is easy to understand the weight of the ‘Dach Area’ for our event.
A supremacy that also has a significant counterbalance on the visitor side: visiting German companies account for more than 11 per cent of the total, a figure that exceeds 16 per cent if we also add arrivals from Austria and Switzerland.
It is easy to understand, therefore, with how much enthusiasm and attention SICAM is once again in Cologne this year, undoubtedly a privileged moment to reaffirm and further enhance the strong relationship that exists between two producer countries and two markets – Italy and Germany – that are undoubtedly a world reference point for both furniture and furnishings and everything that contributes to their production.

SICAM 2025 SOLD OUT
February 2025 – SICAM is sold out again this year. ‘We are truly grateful to the many industrial groups and companies from all over the world who, by confirming their participation and occupying all the available space, will once again be the protagonists of SICAM,’ commented Carolina Giobbi, CMO of the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Materials for the Furniture Industry.
‘To open a new year being able to announce that next October the furniture industry supplies and materials sector will experience an intense moment of business and meetings, despite the fact that the economic moment is certainly not the most exciting, is for us a source of great satisfaction and a sign of the confidence of many in a future that will certainly be more positive’.
The sixteenth edition will therefore be held from 14th to 17th October 2025 in the traditional venue of Pordenone Fiere, an edition that will once again keep what has always been SICAM’s ‘promises’, so appreciated by the furniture supply chain: a concrete appointment, with a strong focus on the product, where ideas, visions and trends are at home.
Another promise that SICAM keeps is the online publication of the exhibitors’ list well in advance of the date of the event, so that operators from all over the world can plan their presence in the best possible way.
The information and promotion campaign for the appointment has also begun: SICAM will in fact be present at all the most important fairs and events. The first appointments are at KBIS (Kitchen and bath furniture show, in Las Vegas from 25th to 27th February), DelhiWood (New Delhi, from 6th to 9th March) and the Dubai WoodShow (from 14th to 16th April)
We would like to point out that from this year SICAM is a full member of ‘IT-EX’, an association set up to represent Italian trade fair organizers at an international level, supporting the promotion of Italian companies on foreign markets (www.it-exhibition.com).
A system that welcomes 26 thousand exhibitors (11 thousand from abroad) and over 2.8 million visitors, of which 750 thousand from abroad.
‘We are pleased to welcome SICAM,’ says Raffaello Napoleone, president of IT-EX, ‘an excellence of the Italian trade fair sector of international relevance. Its entry makes the association’s representative role, as a privileged interlocutor with the institutions and all the other stakeholders of the supply chains we represent, even stronger’.
‘Our choice has always been to be on the side of companies, to provide an effective and quality service to contribute to their competitiveness,’ concluded Carolina Giobbi. ‘The results we achieve, the initiatives we put in place, the partnerships we establish with organizations and associations all over the world are part of this mission of ours.’
It is worth remembering that SICAM 2024, which took place last October, attracted 692 exhibitors (650 in 2023) from 34 countries to Pordenone, over an area of more than 41,000 square meters, including 19,135 net exhibition square meters (18,420 in 2023); 9,243 companies (8,916 in 2023) from 118 countries (113 in 2023) came to Pordenone to meet them. Just under 30,000 people attended the fair over the four days of the event, including 23,542 visitors and 5,368 exhibitors.

CARLO GIOBBI OPENS THE DOORS TO THE “SECOND GENERATION” OF SICAM
It is time to open the doors to the second generation of SICAM to my children Carolina and Michele, and involve them in an even stronger and more direct way in the management of this beautiful fair which, thanks to the exhibitors and visitors who choose us every year, has become a consolidated point of reference in the international calendar of exhibitions”.
With these words Carlo Giobbi – founder of SICAM, the international exhibition of components, accessories and semi-finished products for the furniture industry – announced that he wanted to give continuity and further impetus to the event by involving Carolina and Michele Giobbi in an even stronger and more direct way, always alongside his father in this endeavor.
The news – communicated to the numerous journalists present at the opening press conference of SICAM 2023, which took place from 17 to 20 October – was greeted with long and moving applause. Carlo Giobbi immediately wanted to clarify that this is certainly not a handover, but the dutiful recognition of the work done by his children in recent years and an incitement to continue a highly successful path in a time that requires fair organizers to be up to date with the transformations underway.
“We must look to the future, demonstrating that we have the will and energy to enrich our position as an effective meeting point between people with new content,” concluded Giobbi. “The vision, skills and experience of Carolina and Michele will allow us, I am sure, to continue to represent a quality experience and a concrete business opportunity for the world of furniture supplies”.
