+INDUSTRY 2025: STRONG FOCUS ON INNOVATION WITH 12,120 VISITORS

+INDUSTRY 2025 closed its doors with the participation of 12,120 visitors and a highly positive result. This year’s edition has been distinguished by the quantity and quality of the products, a first-class staging and a highly advanced technological offering, which consolidates this platform as the biggest smart manufacturing event of the year in Spain.

The sectorised format of +INDUSTRY made it possible to cover the main processes and innovations in industrial manufacturing, in a space with high added value that boosted innovation, networking and business opportunities throughout its 7 specialised trade fairs.

Professionals from 47 countries responded to this call, coming from countries such as France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Taiwan, China, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Morocco and Romania, among many others. Nationally, 40% of the visitors came from outside the Basque Autonomous Community, especially from autonomous regions such as Catalonia, Madrid, Navarre, Cantabria, Castile and Leon, Valencia and Asturias. Likewise, the large manufacturing companies in the Basque Autonomous Region attended the event.

Another significant aspect was the highly qualified profile of the visitors, who were very much oriented towards investment in innovation and continuous improvement. Among the attendees, the presence of general directors, CEOs, owners, managers, as well as those responsible for purchasing, RDI, production and technical departments was particularly noteworthy.

The presentation of around 1,500 products by 873 exhibiting companies reinforced the multiplier effect of +INDUSTRY. The exhibition space offered highly innovative solutions in key sectors such as automation, robotics, subcontracting and sourcing, digitalisation, additive manufacturing and pumps and valves, encompassing all the essential processes of industrial manufacturing and its most disruptive trends.

This was made possible by the simultaneous hosting of several leading trade fairs in their respective fields: AdditƐD, BeDIGITAL, Maintenance, Pumps & Valves and Subcontratación, as well as WeAR. The latter, which held its first edition, generated great expectation, which was evident in its live product demonstration areas and the level of activity in all its spaces.

The fair was particularly dynamic and practical, with numerous real-life use cases illustrating the direct application of products and services. +INDUSTRY offered a full programme of activities, including Innovation Workshops, Tech Demos, technical visits, various spaces for networking and B2B meetings. In addition, the conference programme – Additive, Digital and Maintenance Talks – brought together 40 speakers from different countries, who provided a global and multidisciplinary vision of the major challenges that are redefining advanced industry.

In parallel, one of the highlights of the B2B meeting programme was the 21st European Industrial Subcontratación Meeting. Organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, CamaraBilbao and BEC, in collaboration with the Spanish Chambers of Commerce, the event hosted nearly 1,000 business interviews, in which buying companies from countries such as Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland participated.

Institutional and associative support was another of the pillars of this edition. +INDUSTRY had the collaboration and participation of numerous entities. The Spanish Chambers of Commerce, as well as various sectoral, territorial and regional associations, were represented, along with strategic clusters such as AFM and associations such as GAIA, as well as other national and international professional organisations. Portugal’s commitment to the event this year was also particularly noteworthy.

In addition, and taking advantage of the presence at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre of the main industry players this week, +INDUSTRY was the venue chosen by two major trade fairs that are world leaders in their fields, EMO and Formnext, to present their upcoming editions. In the case of Formnext, it was announced that Spain will be the guest country in 2025.
+INDUSTRY 2027 to take place in February

The next edition of +INDUSTRY will be held from 23 to 25 February 2027, an adjustment to the calendar that will not only enhance the attendees’ experience, but also maximise the return on investment, generating a positive impact on the companies’ business. Indeed, the new timeframe will allow attendees to address key issues such as logistics, lead generation and post-event follow-up at an earlier stage.

In addition, being at the start of the international trade fair circuit will reaffirm +INDUSTRY’s position as a leading event in its field. This change, which responds to the current commercial needs of many companies, is the result of a firm commitment by the organising team to offer a space for innovation and business traction, and to better serve its customers, anticipating the global demands of the market.
