INDUSTRY FRONTRUNNERS SET THE STAGE FOR FASTENER FAIR GLOBAL 2027
Big names, new features and an audience of qualified buyers – the 11th Fastener Fair Global returns to Messe Stuttgart from 6 to 8 April 2027. With 85 per cent of the floorplan firmly booked, momentum is gathering pace across the global fastener community.
Following a landmark 10th edition, the major players in fasteners and fixings have already locked in their place at Fastener Fair Global 2027. Names confirmed so far include Böllhoff, Cetin Civata, Chavesbao, Eurobolt, Fastbolt, Growermetal, Index, Lederer, Norm Fasteners, Obel Civata, Paal, Pasvahl, pgb, REYHER, Sacma, Schäfer+Peters, SurTec, Tobsteel, TR Fastenings, WASI, and Würth. Their return is no surprise: 95 per cent of 2025 exhibitors said they would be back – a depth of commitment, and roots in the sector, that few events can match.
Three days that put suppliers in front of the market
What draws companies is three days of uninterrupted business, with the industry’s key decision-makers brought straight to their stand. This is where suppliers come face-to-face with engineers, buyers, resellers and distributors who are actively specifying and sourcing fastening technologies.
In 2025, exhibitors were notably positive about the quality of contacts they made – buyers and specifiers exploring the show’s core product areas, including fastener manufacturing technology, industrial fasteners, construction fixings, storage and distribution solutions, factory equipment, and related services.
“Suppliers come to Stuttgart to be seen by the right people,” says Stephanie Cerri, Event Director for Fastener Fair Global at RX. “They showcase what’s new, open doors to customers and markets that would otherwise be hard to access, and leave with the kind of relationships that keep paying off long after the show closes.”
New for 2027: features built around exhibitor results
The 11th edition introduces a series of new features, each built around a clear exhibitor benefit – and all geared to a measurable return.
The first is enhanced visibility. The Product Spotlight Zone puts new products in front of visitors from the moment they arrive, capturing attention and driving traffic directly to the stand, while the Hand Tool Pavilion and its live demonstrations open a direct line to professionals in assembly, maintenance and installation, turning hands-on interest into sales on the spot.
The second is targeted buyer engagement. A dedicated VIP Zone lets exhibitors meet and connect with High Value Visitors – carefully selected senior buyers with clear purchasing intent – for the kind of focused conversations that move deals forward.
The third is meaningful networking. The new Matchmaking Programme with special Meeting Zones helps exhibitors line up business-driven meetings with relevant buyers and partners in advance, maximising valuable floor time and qualified leads.
Underpinning all of this is a more data-led approach to audience development, with organiser RX using market analytics to attract exactly the right decision-makers to Stuttgart.
An audience that means business
Fastener Fair Global stands out for the breadth of the fastener and fixing community it gathers. The 2025 edition brought together 1,000 exhibitors from 42 countries across more than 52,000 square metres of gross exhibition space, and drew around 11,000 trade visitors from 84 countries – 61 per cent of them from outside Germany.
Crucially, these were buyers with the authority to act: every second visitor held decision-making power, two in three carried direct or advisory purchasing responsibility, and one in three arrived ready to invest, sourcing suppliers and assessing innovations across automotive, aerospace, defence, construction, engineering, electronics, energy, and beyond.
More than a sales floor
The value reaches well beyond the orders written on-site. Many exhibitors are based in the industry’s manufacturing and trading heartlands – Germany, Italy, Turkey, India, China and Taiwan. Their participation puts Europe’s buyers and the wider international market within easy reach of their stand.
It also offers the rare chance to benchmark against the competition, seeing how their products compare side by side and which materials, coatings and technologies are gaining ground. And it is a low-risk way to test demand in new markets that would otherwise be costly and complicated to enter.
For organiser RX, all of this is by design. “We are excited to take the show to the next level, using market insights to enhance every aspect of the experience,” Cerri concludes. “What inspires us is the commitment we are seeing from exhibitors, with so many working hard to deliver real improvements – in quality, performance, and sustainability – to their target markets. Our job is to give that work the audience it deserves.”
Stand bookings still open
The 2027 edition is a strategically important event for the international fastener and fixing community, with preparations well advanced and much of the line-up already in place.
Companies keen to exhibit can still secure stand space, with full details at www.fastenerfairglobal.com.
